surfing thru the blogs and thinking

Husbands falling asleep next to me I'm listening to the simson on the TV and the kids are loudly trying to go to bed.Ha start now so we can go thru the hour process.lol thinking how much all you ladies have help me to find the happy in my life. I have found that i can deal with life a bit more easily. I appreciate the little things in my life. maybe its cause i am about to go back to the home that made me crazy to begin with or maybe that the laughter of my children is the sounds of goodness.either way I am at a point that I appreciate my husband and love him for loving me so good. I meant that financially, mentally and well maybe physically too. lol  we have had some ruff times but never been without and always their for each other how could that be bad. I have to start telling him this stuff. Not just now, one step at a time.I wouldn't want to give him a swollen head or anything.

well I was thinking to learn myself is to learn the stuff i like so here i go. the family is a given and our home is another but scrapbooking is what i love to do i can express myself. love my cricut die cutting images and coloring them in with my new copics are awesome. melting pot is fun for flowers and images to give them that dimension. I absolutely love paper, drawing on it, coloring on it, die cutting it, ripping cutting, measuring, folding, curling, chalking, wetting, spraying, layering, painting, stamping even some embossing wet and dry embossing. I simply love paper and what i can do with it and everything that helps me to create with it.

My blog is another thing that I am getting into cause i can share myself with others. I only started it cause someone said that any one who is crafty should have a blog to share their art. I thought that sounded good. My blog turned out to be a place to be me with others that like the same things i do. A place to communicate and meet new people. meeting grown ups instead of all the children in my life. I was starting to think that being a grown up meant learning to speak to little ones on their level. so adult communication is good, really good. up till now I didnt realize what i was missing. If i new then what i know now i would have started a blog years ago. cant wait to learn what else is out their i hope its all good.

Well 3 more days and I'm out

Getting ready to visit family in Cali.

Not sure if i can call it a vacation or a road trip cause I'm going back home to visit family. Since all the good stores are in Cali definitely going shopping for scrapbooking supplies(happy dance). I'm going to miss my art supplies here at home and my hubby since its going to be and the kids going. hope to have a good time and not a  critical judgmental trip. love my family but like i said its family:(  so no arting for at least a week and a half. when i get back it is so on it will be scrapbooking galore. i will miss my youtube and ustream vids too. i feel withdraws already. well off to finish packing. i think this will be the last creative post for a minute but will post the hopefully fun stuff in call from my phone. bye for now

labled my copic ciao markers, just as good as sketch

I labeled my ciao copic markers using my P-touch lable maker font size 9 seemed 2 work best. A bit of time now I can see the # on the cap of markers.cheap n easy.

our lil kitten we took her camping with us for 4 days and she loved the wilderness. we call her tigger and my little one calls her mittens but she only response to her feeding time. love her.

finished the window envelopes

swap from http://www.youtube.com/user/TracysTreasures24?blend=9&ob=5 tracys treasures window envelopes are done and ready to ship. so glad you ladies like it its a big, huge relief. I can send them in peace. 4 days to figure out what i wanted to do and then it went from their cricut cartridge ornament iron for the window part butter fly also a cricut cartidge actually the gypsy cartridge that came with gypsy. I used copic markers to color butterfly CTMH glitter glue for the wings. glimmer misted the flowers from HSN not sure the name of flowers. and just used TH pumice stone distress ink pad and finger dauber to ink up edges of brick back ground (took 4eva). glimmer misted the tag. thats about it. ohh did i mention my stamp is from tattered angels too. crochet lace i guess is from walmart and so is the white yarn.used black seam binding


The tag was also from the ornamental iron cartridge i used my gypsy to melt together the tag from tags bags cartridge to the ornamental iron cartridge piece and out came a tag i used white cardstock and black cardstock just cut out the top piece in black and made the tag. hope you like

This is my version of the heroarts.com Layout challenge and the 4th challenge of thealteredpages.ning.com site layout "whats in my purse" all about me book. I like how the scrapbooking community works together. picture still to be taken n printed once i find my purse. hehe

My first moble post

my use of Satin Ribbon that i have had 4eva & stick pins

last couple of days i have been feeling crafty. So last night i was wondering how to use up my satin ribbon i have tons of it, so i betta use it, right! so these are the flowers i started making. i think you can tell which ones i made first but the i like them all. my fav is the top right. twist, glue, and dont push the ribbon into the glue but just let it stay in its circular pipe like ribbon tube that forms when twisted. hope that explains what i just did.:/ .  The lace is also something i have tons of from way back in the day. i just glimmer misted the black one. hot glued every thing to a 1 1/4" circle piece of paper and wahlah satin ribbon flowers with lace and fiber. hope someone likes my flowers got the idea from YT vid. thinks its in my favs. check it out

stick pins, not sure what they are called but i made them all by hand. the pin itself is made of a role of 20 g. steel galvanized wire $1.59. The beads i bout years ago at michaels for $1.29 and i think the grey and black beads from some broken jewlery. I am a frugal, cheap, and all sorts of waste not want not kinda person. I used round pliers made the loop on top and used a metal file to sharpen the other end of the wire so to be sharp needle like(trust me its sharp, i tested it out on my fingure by accident). this is my first attempt at Stick pins definitly fun to do. ohh yeah and on top of the stick pins i used my melting pot i used a bead on timp and covered with UTEE, on the middle one. the tope one it's i made the eye pin style and just dipped that end in UTEE & spin to make it an even kinda tear drop end. hope you like
