little project im working on :)

this is my tag and a paper charm to go on it. its still in the making. i wanted the heart lock look like copper and i wanted it to be made out of paper. so far so good. the tag i made using destressing inks and ctmh black ink and stamp set. we shall see which way i go next.

our trip to the outlet page. my journaling is in the bag. hehe. you can pull out the bag and the journaling is inside it opens on the right side cute right. i love it. double matted the photo, plus the lace on bottom. used the label maker for more journaling. title not to happy with but i tried to mimic their shorts in pic. used viva deco for the black pearls. stamped the back ground of paper. and the flowers are glimmer misted, some stamped and colored in with bic markers or ctmh water color pencils. the leaves were cut using cricut cartridge mothers day and heat embossed with natures veins stamp set from ctmh. love that stamp set.

My lace flowers, I must use up the lace i have a whole roll of this had it since childhood. My crochet butterfly I seen the video on youtube she had a great tutorial.Some papers I cut from me cricut put them together trying to make my own embellishments. not sure what page ill use them on but at least i have them. still need to decor the paper butterfly :) and the fabric flowers i bought from the Walmart used my own mix of re inkers and sprayed them cause I bought the white ones and threw in some brads,buttons, jewels, and flat glass thingies.

my paper stamp embellishments

i tried to make them look like stamps so i used a small hole punch around the edges and cut out several pieces it took a while. Then free hand i drew a black line for the border and started doodling and thought mini ATC. i like doodling and this was a way of using them up in a scrapbook page as an embellisment. i had fun doing this im sure with time they will evolve. im thinking bling and viva deco pearls, stickles who nows whats next.

first blog

Thought i would give this a try, a blog. I heard last night that every crafter needs a blog to display their art work so her i go. Now i can share what i love spending my time on, scrapbooking.
